This day dedicated to breast cancer, and aimed at general practitioners, aims to show how a breast cancer center is organized and how the collaboration of several professionals (general practitioner, breast-radiologist, surgeon oncologist, plastic surgeon and oncologist) is the winning weapon against such a widespread disease.
The most frequent cancer in women is breast cancer, 48,000 new cases are diagnosed every year and to date there are over 690,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer in Italy.
