The story

Villa Margherita is a historic private nursing home in Rome, opened continuously since 1948 and since then many professionals, especially from Italian University Centers and prestigious hospitals in the capital, carry out their activities at our facility.

Located in Viale di Villa Massimo 48, a stone’s throw from Piazza Bologna in a residential area adjacent to Villa Ricotti, Villa Massimo, Accademia Tedesca and Villa Torlonia, enjoys, despite its centrality, the quiet and green of its private park and surrounding parks.

Villa Margherita is easily accessible from the ring road (exit Nomentana) and from Termini Station (Metro B exit “Bologna”). The Treatment Center has the latest instruments and technology, 5 operating theatres, 2 delivery rooms, diagnostic instruments and images, laboratory analysis available 24 hours a day. The facility has a capacity of 61 beds, with rooms with single beds, their own bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi and all other hotel amenities. Meals for patients and their companions are chosen from a la carte menus and prepared directly on a daily basis from the internal kitchen of the Treatment Center. The bar, in addition to serving hot and cold food and drinks at the counter, provides a restaurant service, with a daily menu and dishes of the best Italian tradition prepared by the chef in our kitchens. The Villa Margherita Treatment Center does not have an agreement with the National Health Service and therefore operates, from an economic and regulatory point of view, in a regime of free private medicine for all the services it provides. The Treatment Center has an agreement with the main insurance companies and with the Supplementary Welfare Funds (see all agreements). There are various agreements in place between the Treatment Center and most of the Hospitals and Universities of Rome for the exercise of the intramural medical profession.
